Do you dislike your crooked teeth? Want to fix a small gap in your smile? If you want to straighten your teeth it can be a time consuming process, so it’s important that make you right the choice before taking the plunge and deciding to go ahead with a particular orthodontic treatment.

Traditional fixed orthodontics are a good option if you want to get accurate results once you’re finished wearing your braces. The advantage of fixed orthodontics is that they can’t be removed by the patient, making it ideal if you dislike the idea of removing your braces because it interrupts with your lifestyle.

If you dislike the appearance of metal braces however, then Invisalign or Clearstep may be a better choice for you. Consisting of a series of clear aligners or positioning trays which are designed to straighten your teeth by exerting low forces to gently guide your teeth into position, this is an ideal option if you want to enhance your smile invisibly.

Need a straight smile in time for a special occasion such as your wedding? The Inman Aligner is an orthodontic appliance which straightens front teeth in a few short weeks. This clear plastic retainer is spring loaded with aligning bars which are designed to easily fit over the front four teeth. This places a constant gentle pressure on the teeth to move them into place. Results can be seen in 4-16 weeks depending on the case.

Social 6 braces can treat mild to moderate cases of crowding, i.e. the first six front and lower teeth.  It’s placed on the back of the teeth known as the lingual side and is considered a good alternative to removable braces such as Invisalign and the Inman Aligner.
