This is where your plaster tooth model is adapted with tooth coloured wax to show how various treatments will work. This model can be adapted as often as necessary until you are happy with the results. Once your teeth have been prepared, then this model is used as a template to make any temporary teeth, so you get to ‘test drive’ your new smile before it is completed. If you are unhappy with anything then it can be corrected before your permanent teeth are made, although it is worth remembering that your permanent teeth will always look better than the temporaries!
